Professional Services

Streamline Networks specializes in improving indoor and campus-wide mobile voice and data reception through the deployment of indoor and outdoor distributed antenna systems (DAS).

We offer the following professional services:

Consulting and Assessment - Streamline Networks possesses the knowledge and experience to assist enterprise clients in identifying and selecting best in class infrastructure solutions to address their wireless workplace needs.

Carrier Engagement - Wireless carriers are a key component to implementing a successful in-building or oudoor DAS system and they have both engineering and business case requirements that must be considered.  Working on the client’s behalf, we will seek to define the optimal carrier participation model either directly by leveraging our carrier relationships or through an owner/operator leasing arrangement. When certain economic criteria are met, an owner/operator arrangement can yield system design and installation at little to no cost to the facility operator/owner.

Needs Assessment - Using client data along with the enterprise's desired application set, Streamline Networks will develop a customized wireless infrastructure strategy to deliver coverage and capacity and enable wireless mobility within the building or throughout a campus area.

Engineering Scope Development - Working with client reps and architects we’ll define wireless infrastructure requirements for new construction and major retrofits.

Project Management :

Scope Development

  • Stakeholders define wireless and building requirements.
  • ROI and funding considerations are identified and discussed in-line with carrier engagement.  Owner/Lessor scenarios are defined and optimal scenarios prioritized.  Owner/Lessor criteria are determined.
  • Document and define
  • Coverage areas defined, aesthetic concerns identified, building changes considered, in-project operational requirements defined.
  •  code, safety, security and installation requirements.
  • Meet with facilities management and communicate review and confirm  general requirements for system installation are understood.

Site Survey

  • Collect and document carrier required environmental and access information to facilitate their participation.
  • Inventory in-use RF  spectrum.
  • Floor plan confirmation, annotation and system installation feasibility study.
  • Identify location of critical equipment areas for the design effort.

System Design

Our engineering team designs dependable, scalable systems. Key system design documents meeting requirements including those of wireless service providers are created including cabling plans and signal coverage prediction schematics as well as component and system specification information.

Procurment and Logistics

After customer acceptance, our project manager schedules component and material delivery, working in coordination with and based upon requirements of customer’s representative.

Installation

Our on-site project manager oversees in-house installation team’s activities and monitors and manages progress. Subsystem testing procedures are utilized at critical waypoints to ensure quality with assured compliance to codes and reulatory requirements: Infectious Control, OSHA Safety and Confined Space, ANSI/TIA/EIA, NFPA 70 - National Electric Code.

Acceptance Testing

System level functional customer testing is completed to ensure system operability and compliance with FCC regulations.
